Engr. Oriyomi Samuel is the Construction Engineer/Planner at RFS. He started his working career with Willbros Nigeria Limited, Choba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 2001 as a Field Engineer. He has worked for several companies including Willbros Nigeria Limited, ASCOT Nigeria Limited and ExxonMobil in Nigeria. He retired from Contract Services with ExxonMobil Nigeria as Senior Construction Engineer in March 2020.
During his working career, he gained extensive working experience in Oil and Gas Projects including: Exxon-Mobil ERHA EPC-3 Subsea Manifolds and Jumpers fabrication and System Integration Test (SIT) assembly, Offshore Topside Life Extension, Platform Restoration, Riser Repair Program (protection of production volume methods: riser-clad, conventional cutout/replace like-4-like & Mexxssub Metallic Sleeves System application), Riser Guard installations, Pipeline Clamping, damage repairs & Pressure Testing, Gas-lift, Slot Add (in-fill drilling) to existing WHP & Revamp (structural damage & integrity works) / Well-Head Conductor Guards / Asabo Restoration, Fuel Gas Upgrade, Molsieve change-out, Skim Pile, Cu-Ni Firewater Upgrade (from conventional Carbon Steel) & field wide piping (process) replacement, Pigging Facilities Upgrade, Pipeline and Deepwater facilities maintenance, Inspection and Repairs Projects within MPN Fields in Nigeria. He has extensive brownfield/greenfield working experiences covering high-pressure systems, sweet/sour services, live platform, shut-down planning and shutdown construction execution.
Engr. Oriyomi Samuel received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Lagos State University in 1995 and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos in 1998. He completed his mandatory National Youth Service Corp at the Yobe State Ministry of Works, Yobe State 1996.
He is a member of Nigeria Society of Engineers. He is also trained in Operator’s Work Management System up to the level of an Approving Authority.
