Oluseyi O Makinde is the Quality Advisor of RFS. Quality Assurance and Control practitioner with over 25years experience in Oil and Gas sector. He started his career with Emetek Engineering Limited, Qua-Ibon Terminal Ibeno Akwa-Ibom State as construction engineer in 1997. He worked for several companies including Ascot Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, Ascot Fabricators and Constructors (WILLBROS) Nigeria Limited, NESTOIL Limited and ExxonMobil in Nigeria. He retired from contract services with Nigeria Project Organization unit of ExxonMobil in Nigeria as Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) in March 2020.

During his working career, he gained extensive working experience in Oil and Gas project including : Installation of production separators and other associated pipe works at Idu Flow Station (AGIP Field), Fabrication of piping spools for North APOI gas lift project (Chevron field), Fabrication of piping spools and support for MEJI Production Platform(Chevron field), Construction of 30,000MT of  Storage Tanks and other associated works at Ocean and Oil Tank farm(OANDO) Onne Terminal , Construction of 15,000MT Tank facilities of AP Oil at Onne Terminal, Construction of 4”X 4KM flow line from well 13T to Nun river flow station ( SPDC Field ), Replacement of 20”x 38KM Kolo- creek – Rumuekpe Trunk line (SPDC Field), Replacement of 24”X 48KM Nembe Creek –Cawthorne Channel Trunk line replacement project( SPDC Field ), Fabrication of Gbaran Ubie 18” Tie – in Header to Kolo Creek manifold facility (SPDC), QIT Air Assist smokeless flare improvement project ( MPN ), Mobil Offshore Riser Repair project , OSO RH-RR Pigging facilities upgrade ( OCIP ExxonMobil), Enang JB Revamp ( OCIP ExxonMobil), Ubit GJ & GK wells Redevelopment Project ( OCIP ExxonMobil), Etim/Inim pigging facilities project , Etim/Inim life extension project and  various ExxonMobil offshore projects. He has extensive brownfield/greenfield working experience in Quality Assurance and Control.

Oluseyi Makinde received his HND Mechanical Engineering (Production Option) from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State and PGD Mechanical Engineering (Thermo – Fluid Option) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology Port Harcourt Rivers State. He completed his mandatory National Youth Service Corp at Minefield Engineering Limited, Bukuru Jos Plateau State in 1996.

He is a certified registered Welding Inspector from The Welding Institute Limited, Great Abington United Kingdom with CWIP certificate number 56141 and TWI registered number R/57223. ISO 9001-2015 QMS Lead auditor (IQCS certificate an IRCA registered body), member of American Society of Quality personnel – Milwaukee USA. A level II Certified in Non-Destructive Examination ASNT in the following process: Ultrasonic test method, Radiographic testing with interpretation, Magnetic particle inspection, Dye penetrant inspection and Visual Inspection method.  Trained level III HSE Supervision competency and Operation work Management System custodian up to the level of an Approving Authority.
